Valium.
Valium (diazepam) is a benzodiazepine medicine that can be prescribed for the treatment of anxiety disorders, panic disorders, as well as a number of other conditions. Medical conditions to report to your doctor before starting the treatment include the following ones: breathing problems, kidney or liver disease, suicidal thoughts, mental illness, seizures, depression, a history of drug or alcohol addiction, and any other ones you think are important to mention. You will be supposed to tell your health care provider if you are allergic to clorazepate, chlordiazepoxide, oxazepam, alprazolam, lorazepam, flurazepam, temazepam, clonazepam, or prazepam, as well as diazepam, as this may mean you will not be able to start the treatment because of high risk of developing an allergic reaction. It's very important that you tell your doctor if you have a history of drug or alcohol addiction, kidney or liver disease, mental illness, suicidal thoughts, depression, breathing problems, or seizures, as any of the conditions mentioned may affect the dose you are prescribed.
